Fertisa’s Seaport Terminal represents a new era of premium port services and a significant improvement in Ecuador's international competitive standing in this area.

The only terminal with a sheet-pile quay in Ecuador, it has a broad apron for maneuvers and storage capacity for all kinds of cargo. This multipurpose terminal has a pier area of about 300 meters long, with 50,000 m2 of dockyard and two berths to attend to ships of over 25,000 DWT (deadweight tons), simultaneously. All these features facilitate the import of fertilizers and the export of bananas and other products, both in bulk and in containers.

Located on the road to the Guayaquil Seaport, the terminal was inaugurated in October 2004. That same year, in recognition of the quality policies of the company, we were awarded the “Statement of Compliance of a Port Facility” certification pursuant to the requirements of the International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code and the Business Anti-Smuggling Coalition (BASC).

These certifications and the 24/7 collaboration of the Ecuadorian Anti-Narcotics Police Unit, with trained dogs, ensure security at our port terminal
